Every organisation has a document their people should know but don't. We build AI assistants trained on your exact rules, regulations, or compliance documents — so your team gets answers in seconds, with the exact clause cited.
Built for Cricket Tasmania. Deployable for any association, regulator, or organisation with a reference document their people constantly need to look up.
30 min
to manually research and answer a single regulatory query — assuming you even find the right section. The assistant answers in seconds, with the exact clause cited.

built-in analytics
Every organisation with a rulebook, compliance code, or policy manual runs into the same three problems.
Problem 1
Staff reference the document constantly but searching a PDF is slow and error-prone. Two people look up the same rule and walk away with different answers. Nobody has time to read it end to end.
Problem 2
The senior umpire, compliance officer, or certifier who "just knows" the rules isn't always available. When they leave, that knowledge walks out the door — and the organisation is back to square one.
Problem 3
Without a single authoritative source, decisions vary by person, by day, and by who got asked. Disputes escalate. Liability accumulates. Nobody can point to where the decision came from.
The fix
The AI only answers from your content — no hallucinations outside the corpus. Every answer includes the exact clause. Every question is logged. The assistant gets smarter about your document over time.
The assistant doesn't connect to the internet or use generic AI knowledge. It works exclusively from the document you provide.
We ingest your document
PDF, Word doc, or a set of related documents — bylaws, supplementary conditions, appendices. We structure the content, embed it for semantic search, and build the retrieval layer. The AI only answers from your corpus.
Natural language Q&A with citations
Ask a question in plain English. Get the answer plus the exact rule, clause, or section it came from. If the answer isn't in the document, it says so — no making things up.
The assistant generates insight
Every question is logged. Over time you see which rules get looked up most, where answers are unclear, and where the document needs stronger guidance. The assistant helps you improve the rulebook itself — not just answer questions from it.
Public or private — your call
Sports associations and code references can be publicly accessible. Confidential documents — AFSL compliance manuals, HR policy, internal ops — run on private closed instances. Access-controlled, not publicly indexed, not findable on search.
Cricket Tasmania was spending 75 staff hours per season answering by-law queries — inconsistently, with no audit trail, and no way to build institutional memory. Here's what we built.
[ Cricket Tasmania — Laws of Cricket AI Assistant ]
The problem
Cricket Tasmania runs 507 senior teams and 8,750 registered players across 150+ clubs. Every season, CT staff fielded 150+ by-law queries — each taking an average of 30 minutes to research and respond. Rulings were inconsistent across clubs. There was no precedent library, no audit trail, and no way for umpires or club admins to get reliable answers outside business hours.
The build
A mobile-first AI assistant trained on three layers of cricket law: ICC Laws of Cricket, Cricket Australia playing conditions, and CT's own by-laws and local conditions. Hybrid search — semantic vector retrieval plus full-text matching — fused to surface the most relevant rules. Every answer cites the exact clause. Umpires log in via phone OTP. When a question needs a formal ruling, they escalate through the app — CT admins receive the full context, draft a ruling, and it's published as a precedent for all future queries.
The outcome
If your people are constantly looking things up — and getting different answers — an AI assistant trained on your exact document is the fix.

The build fee covers everything to get the assistant live. Monthly covers hosting, document updates as rules change, and ongoing support.
[ The Build ]
From $2,000 one-time
Everything needed to get the assistant live and accurate on your document.
[ Hosting & Support ]
From $300/month
Keeps the assistant running, accurate, and up to date as your document changes.
Pricing scales with complexity. A single clean PDF is straightforward. Multiple layered documents with cross-references, or a private instance with SSO and strict access controls, costs more. Tell us what you're working with and we'll give you a number within 24 hours — no guesswork.
We handle everything. You send us the document and tell us how it's used. We build, tune, and hand it over.
[ 01 ]
PDF, Word doc, or a set of policy files. We review the structure and tell you exactly what the assistant can and can't answer — before we start building. If it's not the right fit, we'll tell you that too.
[ 02 ]
Document ingestion, retrieval architecture, prompt engineering, and accuracy testing against real questions your team actually asks. We don't hand over the assistant until the citation quality meets the bar.
[ 03 ]
You get an admin back-office to update documents as rules change, see usage analytics, and manage access. We handle hosting. When the rulebook is updated each season, we re-ingest it — usually within 48 hours.
Tell us what you're working with. We'll tell you whether an AI assistant is the right fit — and what a build would actually look like.
We'll be in touch. — Bailey
